Winter 2010
Is the name of the programme broadcast on Czech Radio for which i was recently interviewed by Sarah Borufka. We talked for a few minutes about hair and hair salons in Prague.
Happy to see that trichomania.com had its most visitiors until now, with nearly 1800 visitors in January.
Mainly due to the good looking girls on the photos we uploaded in the end of December.
Another nice new review was added on expats.cz.
A whole batch of new photos from a recent photo session was just uploaded to Trichomania.com .
New prices for haircuts will become valid from the 1st January 2010.
Autumn ´09 It took a few months, but the salon is now online so that you can use our wireless network if you have your notebook wth you. The other benefit is that we can now except MasterCard, Visa and American Express credit cards.
A new page was recently added to Trichomania.com. which serves as a kind of "MiniSite".
We´ve really been enjoying the first few months with our new salon. We also got some extremly good first reviews on the popular Expats.cz website, pushing us to keep up the good work! You can read them here: recent reviews. But feel free to use the forum on this page for any comments, suggestions or questions, too.

December
We finally found a very good location in Vinohrady, Prague 2, so the waiting time was worth it! We are momentarily preparing things. There´s more information about it on the SALON page.
Until then i´ll carry on with home service.
November The International Womens Association of Prague is holding their second Body, Mind & Spirit Autumn Fair at the Aventin Palace, Purkynova, on 11th November from 10am until 1pm. You can take part in the charity raffle and win a prize! For example one of my vouchers for a couple of hours of being pampered. A complete haircut service, including an extra TLC hair treatment with the new gloss I use exclusively. I will also be at the fair for consultations and questions, presenting some of my hair products and offering some nice brushes for sale. August / September A lot of people like the stripey T-Shirts and hand made earrings by the young designers I´ve been working with lately. This is encouraging me to carry on with this kind of succesfull cooperation in future, also. Are you a young designer?
My signature line haircare product range "Mark Weston Praha" is slowly growing. Next to my favorite "Hair Serum" the range now includes a Leave In Conditioner and a Styling Paste with matt effect.
I still haven´t found a suitable shop for a small salon, so it´s "home service" a while longer. This also means that the "Salon Name Competition" is still on! Any suggestions?

The exclusive chair we ordered from a traditional spanish furniture company for the salon, was finally delivered and proves to be a very good choice. You´ll want me to take my time, so that you can relax a little bit longer. But the search for a nice location for a small, individual salon to stand the chair in is still on, so if you have a suggestion we´d like to hear it! Until then it´s still "home service". Starting with one of my all time favorite styling products called "Hair Serum" i am collecting a fine selection of "Signature Line" haircare products with my name on. ...and I wouldn´t put my name on it, if i didn´t think it´s good. Time really flies and even if i only calculate 4 haircuts a day by 200 working days a year, its still 16000 haircuts! I wonder how many kilogrammes of hair that is?? ..but then again, it´s not what you cut off that counts, it´s what you leave on that matters.
